Dr. Cantu received her doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston – College of Optometry.

As a therapeutic optometrist, she is able to treat and manage a variety of ocular conditions from corneal foreign body removals to helping preserve vision loss from glaucoma.

Although she is dedicated to helping people of all ages, she has a passion for working with pediatric patients and has the unique ability to make their eye exam an enjoyable process.

In her efforts of helping to slow down myopia progression, Dr. Cantu is certified in myopia management using different modalities of treatment such as MiSight, orthokeratology, and atropine. Her goal is to help children utilize their eyes to their fullest potential in order to have a solid foundation for their educational success.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and staying active outdoors.
