Our Doctor

Faheem Inayatali, O.D., M.B.A.

Therapeutic Optometrist.

Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr. Inayatali was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Houston.

Following his Bachelor’s Degree, Dr. Inayatali received the Presidential Benedict scholarship to earn his doctorate degree and glaucoma specialization from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

Dr. Inayatali has worked with several specialty clinics such as Pediatrics, Glaucoma service, Retina Surgical Service, Dry Eye Service, and Specialty Contact Lenses.  He also has thorough clinical training with Cataract and Lasik surgeons at the Eye Center of Texas.  He has certifications in Glaucoma Services as well as Corneal Refractive Therapy.  He is currently a member of the Texas and American Optometric Associations.  

Following his doctorate degree, Dr. Inayatali earned his Masters in Business Administration from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, specializing in Healthcare and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Faheem values all of his patients and treats them with the same, immense amount of care. He’s not only the best doctor for your eye health, he’s the best Doctor to work for! We are  infinitely proud to have such a stellar team here at Eye Center of Houston.

Estefany Calixto: Technician

Estefany attends the University of Houston as a pre-optometrist student, and her goal is to become the first Doctor in her family. Her hobbies include working out 5 times a week and attending sports games. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality family time with her puppy, BoBa. “One thing I like about Eye Center of Houston is my co-workers are more than friends; they became family. Dr. Faheem is one of the best Doctors I’ve ever worked for and a role model.” We are lucky to have Estefany on our team and look forward to watching her grow in her career!

David Chavez: Technician

David graduated from the University of Houston in 2016 with a B.S in Biology and a minor in Foundations of Business. He is currently in his second year working on his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston and plans on having a practice of his own one day. He loves food, and loves to crack corny jokes. On his free time, when not working hard or studying, he likes to enjoy the culinary delights of Houston, or play video games and just hang out. David is an integral part of our practice and we are proud to have him and support him in his journey of Optometry!

Victor Cortez: Technician

Victor has a degree in Sociology and currently attends San Jacinto College in Houston hoping to one day become an optometrist. When not at work, he loves to play blues, rock, heavy metal and pop rock on his guitar. We are grateful for Victor’s strong work ethic and are proud to be a part of his path toward optometry!

Evelyne Gomez: Technician

Evelyne is in her last year of nursing school at Texas Woman’s University in the medical center. Her interest is focused in the fields of obstetrics or anesthetics/surgery. She is originally from Dallas, Texas, and relocated for her degree. She enjoys spending time with family and friends or curling up with a good mystery book. She has a small shitzu and Maltese mixed puppy named Lola, who she loves very much! Patient care is the center of her dedication, in school and at work, and we are so fortunate to have her at our practice, helping us grow as she grows!

Alba Murcia: Receptionist

Alba was born in El Salvador and raised here in Houston. She is currently enrolled in college, taking care of prerequisites to get into nursing school. She hopes to become a pediatric or perinatal nurse in the near future. Alba enjoys watching movies, dancing, and volunteering. Family is her number one motivation to getting her career started and becoming successful. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me!” We can’t either! We are happy to have Alba as a part of our team, and are excited to be a part of her journey to become a nurse!

Ayde Navarro: Marketing Director

Ayde’s focus at the Eye Center of Houston is to spread the word about eye health and reach as many Houstonians as possible, so they get the best care in optometry with Dr. Faheem. When she isn’t at the office, or tutoring, she’s a mother and entrepreneur, running her own succulent business inside the loop. Ayde also loves listening to audio books on quantum physics, contemplating the universe, dancing, karaoke, and coming up with solutions to problems. We are delighted to have Ayde help us grow as she grows, too!

Sirina Powell: Optician

Sirina is the newest addition to our practice. With her technician background, she is a well rounded optician with a solid background in eye health. She is very upbeat and has extensive knowledge on things we didn’t even know there was to know. We love having Sirina’s energy in the practice, and are excited to see her grow in our optical!

Jenny Ramirez: Receptionist

Jenny is the first face you see when entering our practice. She loves to smile and do a fantastic job getting people scheduled in and answering questions. Her charisma and hard work make a huge difference here at Eye Center of Houston. We are extremely fortunate to have a spirit like Jenny’s on our team!

Cristian Urguilla: Optical Director

Cristian is the go to guy for your frame selection. He’ll give you his personal opinion and ask you questions to get you into that special frame. When he’s not in the office he’s out with his friends or playing his guitar. He loves dancing and he’ll do it in the office, too. Overall, Cristian is a great fit with us and we’re lucky to have him!

Daisy Vides: Human Resources/Billing and Coding

Daisy is the right hand to Dr. Faheem and really takes care of all of us. She is currently in school to pursue her BSN,RN. Her favorite sport to watch is baseball, and she played softball in high school. Her favorite color is blue and she enjoys traveling to new places. Daisy is a very positive person and a firm believer that everything that happens in life, happens for a reason. We can’t imagine this place without her!
